Self-Esteem

The secret of sustained success

This course explores the ‘Cycle of Self-Esteem’ which suggests that we have to know and accept ourselves before we can make effective changes in our lives and that with change and growth there is increased self-esteem.

During the course you will have the opportunity to ‘get to know yourself’, to look at and to assess your level of self-esteem and to discover your hidden or spiritual self. There will be exercises to begin to develop self-acceptance and self-knowledge, and inspirations and practical ideas for creating change in your life.

You will learn:

  • The causes of poor self-esteem

  • How to identify areas of strength and weakness in yourself

  • How to develop a sense of self worth based on your inner self and not on superficial attributes

  • Learn methods to deal practically with negative emotions and feelings about yourself

  • Increase your confidence by cultivating your strengths through visualisation and meditation

The course runs one session per week, over a 4-week period, on Saturday afternoons.
